Julie Barreda – Destination Kitchen

Julie Barreda.jpgJulie Barreda was born and raised in the United States, with a family that blended palettes of international cultures.

Her culinary experience and love of “presentation” began at an early age, always observing those around her, primarily her parents, grandparents and great-grandmother. She studied in Spain and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. In the mid 1980’s she founded brainchild, Private Affair Gourmet Catering on Florida’s Gulf Coast; one of the area’s premier catering companies.
